How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mobile Engineer Electrical Maintenance

    Location: Mobile across London & surrounding areas
    Job Type: Full-Time

    The Opportunity

    We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work across a portfolio of sites in London.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned, reactive and minor works, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.

    NICEIC Test & Inspection qualification is essential.

    Key Responsibilities

    Deliver planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
    Complete accurate Site Visit Reports (SVRs) and daily job feedback.
    Act as a key point of contact for clients and ensure excellent customer service.
    Work closely with scheduling teams to deliver PPM and reactive works within agreed KPIs and SLAs.
    Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety requirements, company policies and Safe Systems of Work, including PTW and RAMS.
    Identify and manage minor works and additional work opportunities.
    Liaise with subcontractors and specialist contractors when required.
    Assist with overseeing visiting specialist teams.
    Monitor costs and ensure works are delivered efficiently.
    Provide cover for the Supervisor when required.
    Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota.Essential Requirements

    Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification - City & Guilds or equivalent.
    City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Testing & Inspection or equivalent.
    NICEIC Test & Inspection qualification - essential.
    Experience of general and minor building maintenance.
    Good knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance legislation.
    Experience working with RAMS, PTW and Safe Systems of Work.
    Strong communication and customer service skills.
    Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
    Commercial awareness and the ability to manage costs.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Desirable

    L8 / Legionella training.
    Plumbing and hot water systems experience.
    Computer literacy.
