How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Contracts Administrator

    Hemel Hempstead - Hybrid

    Temporary - Hourly equivalent of £28,000 - £30,000

    Immediate Start!

We're delighted to be recruiting for a world-renowned international business that provide essential products and services across its sector. With a fantastic reputation and a head office based in Hemel Hempstead, this is a brilliant opportunity to join a successful, forward-thinking organisation with modern, stylish offices and a genuinely great working environment.

We're looking for a Contracts Administrator to join the team on a temporary basis, with an immediate start available.

We are looking for someone that is able to commit to staying until the end of 2027. If agreed, this could mean around 16 months of work, making this a very attractive opportunity for someone looking for stability for a long period of time with great opportunities for something longer term down the line too.

    What will you be doing?

This is a varied administrative role where you'll support the team across contracts, quotations, tenders and customer queries. You'll be working with internal teams and customers, keeping information accurate and making sure things move forward efficiently.

    Day-to-day, you can expect to:

Enter, maintain and manage tender, contract and quotation data across ERP and CRM systems.
Prepare and create quotes and contracts for defined product areas, working within agreed approvals and policies.
Act as a point of contact for contractual queries and proactively work towards resolving customer requests.
Deal with pricing queries and liaise with relevant teams to find solutions.
Complete a range of administrative tasks relating to tenders, contracts and quotations.
Keep information accurate and up to date while managing a varied workload and competing priorities. What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is energetic, organised and comfortable working at pace. You don't necessarily need to have worked in exactly the same role before - what's most important is that you're confident working with systems, enjoy learning and aren't afraid to ask questions.

    Ideally, you'll have:

Previous experience in a back-office, administration, contracts, quotations, tenders, sales support or similar environment.
Experience using an ERP or CRM system. SAP experience would be a huge advantage, but it is not essential - experience with another system is absolutely fine if you're confident picking up new software quickly.
A naturally curious and inquisitive approach - someone who asks questions, wants to understand how things work and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
The ability to work at pace and manage a busy workload without losing attention to detail.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisation skills with a reliable and proactive approach.
The ability to take initiative, identify problems and look for solutions.
A flexible attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.SAP or Salesforce experience would be a fantastic bonus, but neither is essential. If you've used another CRM, ERP or business system and can demonstrate that you're a quick learner, we'd love to hear from you.
