Our client is a well-established specialist manufacturer with over 100 years of industry expertise. They supply high-quality components to sectors including construction, aerospace, and engineering, serving an international customer base.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth coordination of sales activities across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Providing general office and administrative support
Acting as a key point of contact for customers, handling queries and providing excellent service
Processing customer orders and production schedules
Monitoring and analysing customer demand and product requirements
Maintaining accurate customer records and data
Using a variety of IT systems, customer portals and Microsoft Office applications
Liaising with internal departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently
Supporting the external sales team with administrative and coordination tasks
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A confident, professional and friendly approach
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
