How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Game Balance Specialist

    Job description

My clients crafts genre-defining games and legendary worlds for all to share. Through unparalleled creativity and storytelling, we create immersive universes and iconic characters that are beloved across platforms, borders, backgrounds, and generations - only made possible by building a work environment that nurtures the artistry of game development and unleashes the aspirations of our people.

We are currently looking for a Game Balance Specialist to help us craft a new, unannounced game.

We are looking for a game balance specialist to join our team and take responsibility for testing the balancing, tuning, and player-facing experience of various gameplay and meta features for different player cohorts across the player lifecycle.

    Responsibilities

Playtest in-development core gameplay and meta features to provide feedback on how target player cohorts will engage with the same.
Collaborate with meta designers, game mode designers, combat designers, and other departments to gauge alignment of features to stated design goals, and suggest improvements to better align these features with player preferences and expectations.
Collaborate with meta designers and product managers to gauge the value and satisfaction players of different spend profiles attain from various product offerings.
Collaborate with UX research, community and analytics teams to inform feedback analysis and derive insights.
Provide feedback in written documentation, images/clips from the game, and verbally in meetings to designers, PMs and producers to inform design decisions.

    Minimum Requirements

Highly experienced player of live-service games of various genres.
Ability to clearly break down and explain designs, pros and cons of characters, maps, modes, gameplay customizations, balancing of progression features, events, etc.
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and succinctly through documentation, presentations, and visual tools.
Comfortable working with designers and product managers from a wide range of backgrounds.
Excels in a collaborative and flexible environment where your role will evolve in line with the ongoing plans for development.
