Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a busy and growing employment law team to recruit an experienced Employment Tribunal Advocate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled advocate to take ownership of a varied caseload, defending tribunal claims on behalf of the firm's clients and representing them at hearings across the country.

The Role

Defend Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of clients, managing your own caseload from instruction through to hearing
Represent clients at full hearings, the majority of which are conducted online, with occasional travel to hearings throughout the UK where required
Provide clear, practical advocacy and advice throughout the litigation process
Work closely with the wider employment law team to deliver a consistently high standard of client serviceAbout You

Qualified as a solicitor or barrister is preferred; however, applications are also welcomed from candidates who can demonstrate the necessary advocacy skills and employment tribunal experience without formal qualification
Proven advocacy experience, ideally within an Employment Tribunal setting
Strong working knowledge of employment law and tribunal procedure
Confident, articulate, and comfortable representing clients independently at hearings
Well organised, with the ability to manage a busy and varied caseloadThe Package

Largely remote working
Candidates within commuting distance will be asked to attend the office once a week; those further afield once a month
Occasional travel to hearings nationwide (expenses covered)
