Are you an experienced Setting Out Engineer looking for your next long-term opportunity?

Insite International are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Setting Out Engineer – RC Frame to join a major construction project in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of an experienced site engineering team on a large-scale project, with 5 months of planned work and the potential for continued opportunities.

🔧 THE ROLE

You will be responsible for:

Accurate setting out of RC frames, structures, foundations and associated works
Carrying out site surveys and producing accurate as-built records
Ensuring construction is delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and required tolerances
Providing technical engineering support to the site management team
Operating, maintaining and managing surveying equipment
Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors and other project stakeholders
Monitoring works to ensure compliance with quality, health & safety requirements
✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer
Experience working on RC Frame / reinforced concrete projects
Previous experience on large-scale civil engineering or construction projects
Proficient with Leica, Trimble or equivalent surveying equipment
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Valid CSCS Card – Essential
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
