Due to continued growth and our expansion into Maidstone and the surrounding areas, we are recruiting experienced, compassionate and reliable Complex Care Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants to join our flexible agency team.
This role is ideal for experienced care professionals who are confident supporting individuals with complex health, physical, neurological or behavioural needs and who are comfortable adapting to different care environments.
About the Role
As an Agency Complex Care Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant, you will provide safe, responsive and person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans, risk assessments and the requirements of each placement.
Your responsibilities may include personal care, mobility and moving and handling support, continence care, nutritional and hydration support, monitoring wellbeing, maintaining accurate care records and recognising and reporting changes or concerns.
Depending on the placement and your individual training and competencies, you may support people with more complex needs. Any specialist or clinical task must only be undertaken where you have received the appropriate training, have been assessed as competent and are authorised to do so within the placement.
You will be expected to maintain high standards of dignity, privacy, safeguarding, infection prevention, confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for experienced care professionals who are calm, dependable and confident supporting individuals with complex needs.
Applicants must:
* Have recent UK experience within healthcare, complex care or support work
* Be confident following detailed care plans, risk assessments and professional guidance, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and accurate record keeping
* Be willing to complete Onpoint Care's induction, mandatory training and any additional competency assessments required for individual placements
* Have an Enhanced DBS, satisfactory employment references and the Right to Work in the UK
Previous experience supporting individuals with complex health needs, learning disabilities, autism, neurological conditions, physical disabilities or behaviours that may challenge is desirable.
