Support Worker

Due to continued growth and our expansion into Maidstone and the surrounding areas, we are recruiting experienced, compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our flexible agency team.
As an Agency Support Worker, you will work across a variety of care and support settings, providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with a range of needs.
We are looking for experienced Support Workers who can adapt confidently to different environments while promoting independence, choice, dignity, safety and wellbeing.
About the Role
Your responsibilities may include supporting individuals with their daily routines, personal care, meal preparation, accessing the community, appointments, activities and developing or maintaining independent living skills.
You may support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, complex needs or behaviours that may challenge, depending on the requirements of the placement.
You will be expected to follow individual support plans and risk assessments, maintain accurate and professional records and recognise and report any changes or concerns relating to an individual's health, wellbeing or safety.
As an agency worker, you will need to build positive professional relationships quickly, maintain appropriate boundaries and work effectively alongside permanent staff and other professionals.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for Support Workers who are compassionate, resilient, reliable and confident providing person-centred support within a variety of care environments.
Applicants must:
* Have a minimum of 3 months' recent UK experience within support work, supported living, residential care or another relevant care setting
* Have a good understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries, risk management and accurate record keeping
* Be willing to complete Onpoint Care's induction and all required mandatory training
* Have an Enhanced DBS, satisfactory employment references and the Right to Work in the UK
Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, complex needs or behaviours that may challenge is desirable.

Onpoint Care offers competitive hourly pay rates, double hourly pay on Bank Holidays and flexible agency working to fit around your availability.
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with a variety of morning, afternoon, evening, night and weekend shifts, subject to client requirements and shift availability.
