How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate and aspiring marketing professional looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in content creation, social media management and digital marketing. The role would suit someone with a degree in Marketing, Digital Media, English, Journalism or a related subject who is keen to develop their skills in a creative and fast-paced environment.

    Working closely with the marketing team, you'll play a key role in bringing the organisation's stories, activities and achievements to life through engaging digital content.

    The Role

    Key responsibilities will include:

    * Developing creative, original and engaging content ideas in response to a variety of briefs.

    * Capturing high-quality photo and video content for use across social media and digital channels.

    * Editing and producing engaging content using a range of content creation and design platforms.

    * Creating social media assets that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

    * Ensuring all content meets accessibility standards and digital best practice.

    * Supporting the delivery of diverse content that showcases activity from across the organisation.

    * Monitoring social media trends and identifying opportunities to create innovative and engaging content.

    * Maintaining social media templates, image libraries, video archives and stock content resources.

    * Assisting with content planning, scheduling and campaign delivery across multiple platforms.

    * Supporting wider marketing and communications projects as required.

    The Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about social media and content creation.

    The successful candidate will possess:

    * A degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism or a related discipline.

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    * Creativity and the ability to generate engaging content ideas.

    * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

    * Confidence using social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

    Desirable Skills

    * Experience creating content through university projects, internships, placements or personal channels.

    * Knowledge of design and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar.

    * Understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting.

    * Basic knowledge of accessibility requirements for digital content.
