Due to continued growth, Spoon2 International is looking for Trainee Engineers & Experienced Fire Suppression Engineers to join our team. Previous fire-industry experience is welcomed but is not essential for trainee applicants, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
The role
You will travel to commercial kitchens across the UK, including occasional work in Scotland and Wales, to:
* Install fire-suppression systems
* Service and maintain existing systems
* Complete safety checks and associated paperwork
* Provide a professional service to our customers
* Work safely and follow company procedures
What we’re looking for
* A full UK driving licence
* Practical ability and confidence using hand tools, drills and spanners
* A reliable and hardworking approach
* The ability to follow instructions and work safely
* Good communication and customer-service skills
* Willingness to travel and stay away overnight
Trainee applicants do not need previous industry experience but should be practically minded and keen to learn. Experienced applicants should have relevant engineering or fire-suppression experience.
Working arrangements
The role is field-based and involves travel throughout the UK. Approximately 99% of work takes place Monday to Friday, with Fridays normally planned as a shorter working day. Due to the nature of our customers’ businesses, some early starts, night installations and overnight stays will be required.
