About the role:
* Working Hours – 40 hours per week
* 3-week rolling shift rota
* Working across three shifts within a 24/7 manufacturing environment
* 30-minute break
* Pay Rate – £24.14
* Hands-on maintenance of production plant and equipment
* Planned Preventative Maintenance
* Mechanical fault finding and breakdown repairs
* Maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
* Fault finding and repair of low-voltage electrical equipment
* Maintenance of conveying systems and process mixers
* Managing plant spares and supporting suppliers/contractors
* Reviewing and improving maintenance schedules
* Working to reduce plant downtime
* Supporting production staff with routine maintenance tasks
* Flexibility required around breakdowns and call-outs
* Long-term work for the right candidate
* Start: ASAP
About You:
* Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years' maintenance experience
* Strong mechanical fault-finding experience
* Experienced with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
* Low-voltage electrical fault-finding experience
* Experience with bulk-material conveying systems/process mixers desirable
* Able to work independently and use your own initiative
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Flexible approach to working within a 24/7 production environment
* Manufacturing, process, waste or heavy industrial experience advantageous
* FLT / mobile plant certificates advantageous
* Must be willing to comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements
