Job Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Assistant Manager to share the leadership remit, representing our client’s own fine jewellery brand alongside a dedicated ‘showroom’ and ‘shop-in-shop’ for two prestigious Swiss watch brands.

Assisting the Store Manager, you will lead by example, inspiring an ever-greater appetite within your colleagues to train and develop their recognised client service and sales talents.

*

In a supervisory capacity, you will assist with the smooth running of the store, optimising trading performance and being prepared to deputise in a full leadership capacity should the Store Manager be absent.

*

Trade relations with all suppliers will be an area in which you will be expected to contribute, ensuring the ‘sell-through’ potential of each manufacturer’s brand assets is optimised to the maximum.

*

Store safety for staff, visitors and all stocked merchandise will always be a key trading focus. You will dutifully oversee the implementation and continual review of all appropriate security protocols.

*

Astutely oversee all administrative and inventory processes, ensuring they remain fully aligned with pre-agreed Head Office best practice.

Requirements:

Your experience to date will demonstrate team leadership and supervisory responsibilities within a luxury consumer goods setting.

*

You will have already received commendation for your fluent communication skills and personal sales prowess — qualities that others within the team can relate to and be inspired to emulate.

*

Possess a thirst for product knowledge and be able to encourage those around you to learn and become the very best ‘brand representatives’ that manufacturing partners could wish to have in-store.

*

Be fastidious in all matters relating to visual merchandising, ensuring a meticulously presented sales floor that is always ready to impress and deliver through being organised and on point.

*

Be equally committed to ensuring that your store delivers the best possible after-sales experience, whether dealing with repairs, valuations or replacement estimates.

*

At all times, be prepared to inform, enlighten and liaise with your Head Office-based team, ensuring that every sales and customer service opportunity is brought to ‘perfect serve’ fruition, in line with both their and your shared store ambition.
