About the role
This temp-to-perm position is based in a food manufacturing environment and as a Hygiene Operative, you will play a key part in ensuring it is a safe, clean environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cleaning in a food factory to a level of excellence against food industry standards.
* This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.
* Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, including the correct use of PPE, cleaning equipment, and chemicals in line with COSHH guidelines.
* Accurately complete cleaning records and report any maintenance issues, hazards, incidents, or incomplete tasks to the supervisor.
* Adhere to company and client policies, maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to workplace safety at all times.
Requirements:
* Must have at least 6 months of experience working as a hygiene operative/ cleaner in an industrial or food manufacturing environment.
* Must be 18 or over with the right to work in the UK.
* Must be able to commit to one of the shift patterns above on a long term basis.
