As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality, winning tender submissions across social housing, compliance, maintenance and energy services. The role offers the opportunity to work on strategically important bids while influencing the future growth of the business.
The Role
This is a hands-on Bid Manager position, ideal for someone who combines excellent bid management capabilities with strong writing skills.
You'll be responsible for managing opportunities from qualification through to submission, coordinating subject matter experts, developing compelling win strategies and producing high-quality responses that clearly articulate value to prospective clients.
Working closely with senior leadership, operational teams and commercial stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in securing long-term contracts and framework agreements across the public sector and social housing markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end management of PQQs, SQs, ITTs and framework submissions.
* Develop bid programmes and manage tender activities to ensure timely delivery.
* Facilitate bid kick-off meetings and coordinate contributions from stakeholders across the business.
* Develop clear win themes and compelling value propositions aligned to client requirements.
* Write, review and refine high-scoring quality responses.
* Manage clarification questions and tender communications.
* Ensure all submissions are compliant, commercially robust and completed to a high standard.
* Coordinate presentations, interviews and bid defence activities.
* Maintain bid libraries, case studies and supporting collateral.
* Conduct lessons learned and post-tender reviews to drive continuous improvement.

* A strong track record of delivering winning public sector tenders.
* Excellent written communication and bid writing skills.
* Experience managing multiple complex opportunities simultaneously.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
* A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and develop winning solutions.
* Knowledge of public procurement processes and frameworks.
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

£65000.00 - £75000.00 per year
