Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for multiple enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in the Chester area, with an urgent start on Monday 28th September.

We have a number of opportunities available, including both 1:1 and class-based Teaching Assistant positions.

The Role

You will be supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs and additional needs, helping them to access learning and develop their confidence, independence and social skills.

Depending on the position, you may be:

Providing 1:1 support to an individual pupil
Working as part of a classroom support team
Supporting pupils with additional and complex needs
Helping pupils engage with lessons and activities
Supporting emotional, behavioural and social development
Working closely with teachers and other support staff
Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from candidates with experience in:

SEN/SEND settings
Schools or education
1:1 pupil support
Autism or additional needs
Behavioural or pastoral support
Care or support work
Youth work or residential settingsRelevant transferable experience will also be considered - you don't necessarily need to have worked as a Teaching Assistant previously.
