How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    A welcoming and well-organised primary school in Enfield is looking for an experienced Attendance & Admissions Officer to join their busy school office. The successful candidate will take responsibility for admissions and attendance administration, ensuring pupil records and school data are accurate, up to date and processed efficiently.

    The RoleWorking as part of the school administration team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of pupil attendance and admissions. You will work closely with teaching staff and senior leadership to ensure attendance information is accurately recorded and admissions and pupil data are maintained correctly.

    The school is looking for someone who is highly organised, confident working with confidential information and has previous experience within a school office environment.

    Key responsibilities will include:
    Managing administration relating to pupil admissions and transitions.
    Maintaining accurate attendance records for pupils and staff.
    Monitoring and following up attendance information and ensuring records are kept up to date.
    Supporting the school with attendance-related administration and communication with parents/carers.
    Maintaining accurate pupil records and school data.
    Supporting the management of school census information and ensuring data is accurately recorded.
    Using school management information systems, including SIMS or similar platforms.
    Daily use of Microsoft Word, Excel and other school administration systems.
    Supporting general school office administration as required.
    Carrying out routine administrative tasks and any other reasonable duties requested by the Office Manager or School Business Manager.The SchoolThis friendly and inclusive primary school is based in Enfield and provides a welcoming environment for pupils, staff and families.     About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

    Previous experience working in a school administration or office environment.
    Experience managing attendance and/or admissions within a primary school.
    Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
    Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling pupil data.
    Good knowledge of SIMS or a similar school management information system.
    Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
    The ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
    A friendly, calm and professional approach when dealing with pupils, parents/carers and staff.
    The ability to work independently, manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
    Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a school office team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school administrator looking for a full-time Attendance & Admissions Officer position within a welcoming primary school in Enfield.
