We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team working within the social housing sector. This role involves carrying out a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works in occupied and void properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out day-to-day carpentry repairs and maintenance in social housing properties
Install, repair, and replace doors, windows, kitchen units, flooring, and other wooden fixtures
Work on both planned and reactive maintenance tasks
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
Provide excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes
Accurately record job details and materials used
Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter or multi-trader, ideally within social housing
Strong carpentry skills
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
Good communication and customer service skills
Relevant qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds)
