We are seeking experienced and compassionate Home Carers to join our expanding care team across Motherwell and Lanarkshire.

About the Role
As a Home Carer, you will provide compassionate care and support to individuals in their own homes. You will play an important role in helping service users maintain their independence, remain connected with their communities, and enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.
Assist with personal care and daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
Support service users with mobility, nutrition, medication prompts, and other aspects of their daily routine, where required.
Encourage individuals to participate in meaningful activities, hobbies, appointments, and community activities.
Build positive and trusting relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
Respect individual preferences, routines, cultural needs, and personal choices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
Report any changes in a service user's wellbeing or circumstances to the appropriate senior staff.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure high standards of care.
What We're Looking For
A minimum of 6 months' experience in a care or support role is desirable.
Previous experience providing care in people's homes is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, compassionate, and respectful approach.
The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider care team.
The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
A genuine commitment to person-centred care and promoting independence.
Reliability, flexibility, and a professional attitude.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle may be required for some care packages.
The legal right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
