This is an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing business. This is a varied, customer facing role with a strong focus on electrical engineering.
You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding. You will be able to identify root causes and provide effective solutions.
Description of the role:
Installing, commissioning and configuring new machinery at customer sites.
Diagnosing and resolving electrical, software and automation-related faults.
Identifying root causes across electrical systems, control panels and machine software.
Running and testing equipment in production environments.
Responding to breakdown and technical issues.
Training customers on equipment operation and routine maintenance.
Providing telephone and remote support and fault diagnosis.
About you:
Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer.
Strong electrical engineering and fault-finding experience.
Experience of working with machine software and control systems.
Experience of installing, commissioning and troubleshooting automated or industrial machinery.
Willingness to travel throughout the UK as required.
