Air Conditioning Engineer – Permanent Position

Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime available

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis, working across Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a long-term position with a well-established business. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and associated HVAC systems across a range of commercial and domestic environments.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems

*

Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs

*

Working on a range of split, multi-split, VRF/VRV and other HVAC systems

*

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works

*

Commissioning systems and ensuring they are operating efficiently

*

Identifying potential issues and recommending appropriate solutions

*

Completing service reports, job sheets and relevant documentation

*

Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

*

Maintaining excellent customer relationships and representing the business professionally

*

Working independently and alongside other engineers and site teams

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

An experienced Air Conditioning Engineer

*

Confident working on installation, service and maintenance projects

*

Fully F-Gas qualified

*

Knowledgeable across a range of air conditioning and HVAC systems

*

Able to diagnose faults and work independently

*

Reliable, organised and professional

*

Customer-focused with good communication skills

*

Committed to high standards of workmanship and health and safety

*

Comfortable working across different sites and environments

*

In possession of a full UK driving licence

Additional qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent HVAC qualifications would be advantageous.
