Job Description
Russell Taylor Group are currently recruiting for an Inventory Stock Controller on behalf of a growing and established client based in Warrington.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual with stock control experience to join a fast-paced warehouse operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, investigating stock discrepancies, and supporting the efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels
* Conducting regular cycle counts and stock audits
* Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
* Monitoring stock movements and updating internal systems
* Producing stock and inventory reports
* Liaising with warehouse and management teams to ensure stock accuracy
* Supporting goods-in and goods-out processes
* Identifying opportunities to improve stock control procedures
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience within a stock control or inventory role
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or stock control software
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience within a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred
