Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Window, Door & Conservatory Installer to join our growing, family run team. You will be responsible for installing, and where needed training, members of our installation crew, helping to maintain high standards on every job.
Key Responsibilities
* Install uPVC, aluminium and timber windows, external doors, French doors, patio doors, bifold and sliding doors, composite doors, and conservatories (including skylights and lanterns)
* Apply sealants, scribe and fit trims, and complete all finishing touches to a high standard
* Respond to service calls as required
* Ensure every installation meets our company's benchmarks for durability, weatherproofing and appearance
* Greet homeowners courteously, explain the work clearly and leave each property clean and tidy
* Mentor and support less experienced installers, sharing carpentry techniques and best practice
* Use our online work calendar to view upcoming installations and documentation
What We're Looking For
* Minimum three years' experience in window, door or conservatory installation, or an equivalent carpentry background
* An MTC card is required (NVQ Level 3 preferable)
* PASMA and CSCS cards would be an advantage
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
* Clear, respectful communication with customers and colleagues
* Reliable, punctual and able to organise your own workload
* Resident within easy commuting distance of our Guildford yard
* Full UK or EU driving licence
* Own basic tools (additional tools supplied where necessary)
* Monday to Friday availability
