Due to continued growth on the project, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the team based in North Acton.
This is a permanent opportunity to join a major infrastructure programme, taking responsibility for the mechanical delivery of a complex M&E package through construction, commissioning and handover.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
* Managing mechanical packages and overall site delivery
* Coordinating Construction Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
* Managing programme, quality, health & safety and progress
* Procurement and management of subcontract packages
* Technical submissions, RFIs and design coordination
* Client and stakeholder liaison
* Overseeing testing, commissioning and handover
* Working closely with commercial, engineering and construction teams
About You
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong M&E/building services background and experience delivering major projects.
Previous rail experience is highly desirable. This does not need to be specifically Network Rail and could include HS2, Crossrail, London Underground/TfL, stations, depots or similar rail environments.
No trackside qualifications are required. Of particular interest are candidates who understand the processes, quality requirements and delivery expectations associated with major rail projects.
