VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / DIAGNOSTIC TECHNICIAN
Location: Stockport
Salary: Up to £38,000 Basic
OTE: £48,200 Uncapped
Hours: 40 hours, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm

THE ROLE
As a Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician, you'll play an important role within a busy workshop, carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and vehicle health checks to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out vehicle inspections in line with technical guidelines
·Completing servicing and routine maintenance
·Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs
·Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
·Carrying out additional repairs once authorised
·Completing warranty repairs accurately and efficiently
·Conducting vehicle health checks
·Carrying out road tests to confirm repairs have been completed correctly
·Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard
·Working efficiently to agreed productivity and quality targets
·Maintaining a clean, safe and professional workshop environment
·Supporting colleagues and contributing to a strong team environment
 
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced technician with:
·NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic
·Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
·Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
·Experience working to high technical and quality standards
·Full and valid UK driving licence
·Excellent attention to detail
·A proactive and professional approach
·The ability to work independently and as part of a team
·A genuine desire to develop your technical skills
Diagnostic, MOT and EV/Hybrid experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
