Are you someone who is interested and passionate about working with those with challenging behaviour and the most vulnerable of students?

Maybe you have heaps of experience managing challenging behaviour and wish to support pupils who need it most in a mainstream setting?

To join Aspire People and be successful in this Head of Year role you will need to:
*Have experience working with young people with difficult behaviour
*Strong behaviour management techniques and strategies
*Have a passion for working and supporting learning
*Resilient and patient attitude
*Fair but firm approach
*Hold a degree - not essential
*Previous been a Head of Year or in a Pastoral role

The role:
*Manage a year group in a mainstream setting
*Ensure behaviour and attendance is managed
*Ensure academic progress is made
*Laise with class teachers, other head of years and parents

All candidates are subject to a barred list check, must provide a recent DBS check and also be able to provide two references from their most recent employers.
