THE OPPORTUNITY:
Both part- time and full-time contracted hours(16 to 35 hours weekly)- with opportunity to work additional hours.
* Our hourly rate of pay is £13.95 ,with enhanced payments (at least time and a half) on 8 public holidays.
* Competitive duty mileage allowance of 45 per mile.
* 28 days holiday pay annually (pro rata)
We are now seeking friendly, well organised individuals wishing to make a positive difference to the users of our very- individualised care at home service in East Renfrewshire and Glasgow Southside.
For operational reasons holders of a full UK driving licence with their own car are preferred. Non drivers who live within a maximum 30 minutes reliable public transport commute to work are welcome to apply.

THE ROLE:
During visits to our users’ homes our care at home carers team provide: all aspects of personal care, moving and assisting, support for meals, nutrition and skin care as well as medication – all on an individual person- centred basis, to an agreed care plan.
HOURS:
Core hours are 07:30 to 13:15 and 15:45 to 21:15 daily, with some befriending opportunities as well. Flexible working opportunities, with agreed patterns are available.
