Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit experienced Plumbers and Pipefitters to join their permanent team and work on a variety of commercial projects across Bracknell, Berkshire and London.
The Role. As a Plumber / Pipefitter, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality mechanical installation works across commercial projects. You will work as part of an experienced site team, delivering installations to a high standard while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and reliability.
Projects may include healthcare, commercial, public-sector and other specialist buildings, providing a varied workload and opportunities to develop your experience across different environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation of commercial plumbing and mechanical pipework systems
* Installation of hot and cold water services
* Installation of heating and chilled water pipework
* Working with copper, steel, stainless steel and other pipework systems
* Reading and working from technical drawings, schematics and specifications
* Measuring, cutting, fitting and installing pipework accurately
* Carrying out pressure testing and associated commissioning activities
* Working alongside mechanical engineers, supervisors and other site trades
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout each project
* Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with relevant regulations, specifications and health & safety requirements
* Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
* Reporting any issues or potential problems to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager
* Working professionally and positively with clients, colleagues and other contractors on site
Salary description
£38000.00 - £46000.00 per year
