The Goods Out Inspector position is required in Wood Green, London for our client, a manufacturer of high-quality bathroom and engineering products. This role is focused on quality control, inspecting finished products before dispatch, and ensuring high-value goods are correctly wrapped, packaged and prepared for delivery. The successful candidate will also complete associated paperwork and computer-based administration, including booking shipments with couriers.

Goods Out Inspector Job Overview

Inspect finished products prior to dispatch, ensuring they meet the required quality standards
Identify and reject products where the quality, finish or condition is not acceptable
Check high-value products carefully before they are packaged and sent to customers
Wrap products appropriately, including using tissue paper and suitable protective packaging
Pack finished products securely into boxes ready for dispatch
Complete the necessary paperwork and computer-based administration relating to goods going out
Book shipments and arrange deliveries with courier services such as DPD and UPS
Ensure goods are correctly prepared and documented before leaving the site
Maintain a high level of attention to detail when handling high-quality and high-value products
Work closely with colleagues across the manufacturing and goods-out process to ensure products are dispatched correctlyGoods Out Inspector Job Requirements

Previous experience in a quality control, goods-out, inspection, packing or dispatch environment
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of quality awareness
Experience handling and packaging high-value or high-quality products
Ability to identify defects or issues and reject products that do not meet the required standard
Good computer skills and confidence completing paperwork and shipment records
Experience booking deliveries or working with courier services would be advantageous
A careful and methodical approach to handling finished products
Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, bathroom or similar product environment would be beneficialGoods Out Inspector Salary & Benefits

Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience
Pension: Company pension scheme
Working hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 and Friday 07:30 - 15:30
