We are working with an established Renewable Energy contractor who have been operating for over 20 years across the South, East and Midlands regions. With a strong engineering team already in place, they support domestic properties, social housing and public sector clients with modern low‑carbon heating systems including Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV and battery storage.
They have partnered with one the largest energy suppliers in the UK and are now seeking an experienced ASHP Installation Engineer to join their field operations team, completing one full ASHP install per week across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Warwickshire and Norfolk.
As an ASHP Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the full installation of domestic Air Source Heat Pump systems including pipework, cylinder changes, buffer tanks, wiring assistance, commissioning support and ensuring installations meet compliance, safety and manufacturer standards. You will work closely with surveyors, designers and commissioning engineers to ensure each install is delivered to a high standard, with accurate documentation and clear communication throughout.
This is a mobile role covering the regions listed above. You will be provided with a company van, fuel card and full manufacturer training. The business operates a structured installation programme, meaning materials, kit and job packs are prepared in advance to support efficient weekly installs. All materials are delivered to site
ASHP Installation Engineer – Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 Plumbing & Heating (Essential)
* Level 3 ASHP Installation qualification (Essential)
* Strong domestic plumbing background
* Experience installing cylinders, pipework, heating components
* Ability to work independently on full system installs
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Based within one of the listed regions
ASHP Installation Engineer – Salary & Remuneration
* £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE)
* Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.
