Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Reading (RG1) on a temporary basis.
This role is initially to provide cover until the end of September, with the potential for the contract to be extended for the right candidate.
The Role
Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.The Successful Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).What We Offer
