We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in East London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced school staff, sports coaches, youth workers, tutors, or anyone with strong classroom management skills looking to gain further experience in education.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
• Supervise secondary school classes during teacher absence
• Deliver pre-prepared work and instructions
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support pupils to remain focused and engaged
• Follow individual school policies and safeguarding procedures
We are looking for people who are:
* Confident managing groups of secondary-aged pupils
* Reliable, professional and adaptable
* Strong communicators with good interpersonal skills
* Passionate about working with young people
* Available for day-to-day, short-term or longer-term assignments
Previous school experience is desirable, but candidates with transferable experience working with young people are also encouraged to apply.
