Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in secondary education?
Veritas Education is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of secondary schools across Bury and Rochdale. These roles offer both short-term and long-term opportunities, with immediate starts available for the right candidates.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Help pupils access the curriculum and achieve their full potential
Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement support strategies
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people with SEN
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Experience in a secondary school setting is desirable
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred, or willingness to obtain one
