The Role - Chemistry Graduate / Unqualified Chemistry Teacher
Full-time Chemistry Graduate teaching role from January 2027 to July 2027
Work as an Unqualified Chemistry Teacher within a high-performing Science department
Support and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4
Lead practical Chemistry experiments and support students during laboratory activities
Prepare and organise laboratory equipment, resources and practical materials
Maintain high standards of laboratory health and safety
Support students with their understanding of Chemistry and scientific concepts
Work closely with experienced Chemistry and Science Teachers
Gain valuable classroom experience in preparation for teacher training or a future career in educationAbout You - Chemistry Graduate
The school is looking for a Chemistry Graduate who is passionate about their subject and interested in developing a career in education.
You will ideally have:
A 2:1 degree or above in Chemistry from a leading UK university
A or A* grades at A Level, including Chemistry
Excellent Chemistry subject knowledge
Confidence communicating with and supporting secondary school students
A genuine interest in Chemistry teaching and education
Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
Previous school, tutoring or classroom experience is desirable but not essential
