Key Responsibilities:
As a Materials Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing the flow of materials from suppliers through to production.
Ensuring accurate inventory levels are maintained and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
Collaborating closely with various departments to forecast material needs and optimise supply chain processes.
Developing and implementing inventory management strategies to enhance efficiency.
Conducting regular stock audits and analyses to ensure compliance with internal policies and standards.
Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolving any supply chain issues that may arise.What the Ideal Candidate Looks Like:
Our client is looking for an individual who possesses:
A background in materials management or supply chain operations, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
