Facilities Engineer

We're looking for a Facilities Engineer experienced in solving problems, driving improvements, and bringing projects to life to join our client's team based in the West of Ireland. The successful candidate will play a visible role in delivering facility, utility, infrastructure, and sustainability projects that directly support healthcare manufacturing. This is a 12 month contract role.

Responsibilities:

Manage and contribute to facilities, utilities, and infrastructure projects.

Implement initiatives that improve site reliability, operational efficiency, sustainability, and overall performance.

Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Take ownership of project schedules, budgets, risks, and communication with key stakeholders.

Support site developments, facility upgrades, expansion projects, planned maintenance programmes, and enhancements to critical systems.

Maintain compliance with GMP, regulatory standards, health and safety requirements throughout all project activities.

Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the long-term development and capability of the sites.

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience within facilities, project engineering, utilities, or manufacturing environments.

Knowledge of facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, water, energy, or building services.

Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership and deliver results
