This is an opportunity to join a progressive engineering environment where investment, innovation and continuous improvement are central to the development of its manufacturing operations.

You’ll take engineering projects from initial concept and investment proposal through to implementation, working with production equipment, automation and new technologies. Collaborating across engineering, production, R&D, quality, logistics and procurement, you’ll have the scope to make a visible difference to manufacturing performance.
  
The Opportunity:

As an Electrical Project Engineer you’ll play a key role in:

• Developing and delivering capital projects covering equipment replacement, new product introduction, automation and continuous improvement.
• Creating investment proposals for new equipment, modifications and facility improvements, providing clear technical and cost justification.
• Specifying, introducing and improving production equipment, electrical systems and manufacturing technologies.
• Using structured problem-solving techniques, including PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Measurement System Analysis, to evaluate solutions and support successful project delivery.
• Working with internal teams, suppliers, consultants and contractors to deliver equipment and production systems safely, effectively and to agreed project requirements.

Your work will directly contribute to improved line efficiency, cost reduction, successful product launches and the introduction of new technology across the manufacturing operation.
  
About You:

We’re looking for someone who can bring:

Strong electrical engineering expertise combined with practical experience of manufacturing or industrial equipment.
 A minimum HNC-level engineering qualification. A degree in Manufacturing,  Engineering, Electrical  or a related discipline would be advantageous.
Experience delivering capital projects, introducing or modifying production equipment, fault finding and supporting continuous improvement.
 A methodical approach to problem solving, with strong analytical, project management, health and safety and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience with PLCs, robotics, vision systems, industrial control systems, electrical safety testing 
18th Edition qualification would also be advantageous.
Someone who is resilient, innovative and driven in there approach to people and projects
