About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional Driver to join our team, delivering goods throughout the UK in a 3.5 tonne Luton van.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing deliveries efficiently and safely, ensuring excellent customer service while representing the company professionally. This role will involve both single and multi-drop deliveries and may occasionally require overnight stays away from home.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive and operate a 3.5 tonne Luton van safely and professionally.
* Complete deliveries across the UK.
* Carry out multi-drop delivery routes, typically 10-15 drops per run.
* Plan and follow delivery routes effectively.
* Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
* Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
* Comply with all road traffic laws and company policies.
Essential Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Maximum of 3 penalty points on licence.
* Good knowledge of UK road networks.
* Ability to speak, read and write English to a good standard.
* Comfortable using sat navs and navigation systems while also being able to navigate using traditional maps if required.
* Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when necessary.
* Excellent reliability, punctuality and organisational skills.
Desirable Experience
* Minimum of 2 years' experience driving large vans, including Luton vans.
* Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
* Experience working within logistics, transport or courier services.
