Are you an experienced DT Technician looking for your next opportunity, or a DT Teacher looking to move away from classroom teaching and use your practical skills in a technician role?

TLTP Education is currently working with a large 11–18 secondary school in South East London who are looking to appoint a Lead DT Technician to support their busy Design & Technology department.

The department offers Graphics and Food Technology, with the successful candidate supporting teachers and students with practical lessons, equipment and resources.

The successful Lead DT Technician will:

Have previous experience working as a DT Technician, or strong practical DT experience
Have experience across Graphics and/or Food Technology
Support teachers and students during practical lessons
Prepare and maintain equipment, materials and resources
Have a good understanding of Health & Safety
Be organised, reliable and able to work independently
Be confident working within a busy secondary school environment

Lead DT Technician – Salary & Benefits:

£150 – £185 per day
