A growing local business is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Data & Business Administrator to support the smooth running of daily operations.
This varied role combines data administration, reporting, logistics coordination and general business support. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring business information remains accurate, organised and up to date, while supporting the wider team with ongoing administrative activities.
The Role
You will work closely with a small team, helping to maintain accurate records, support reporting processes and ensure recurring administrative tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Reporting
Maintain accurate inventory, stock and operational records.
Update reports, dashboards and business trackers.
Check information for discrepancies and highlight issues.
Work with spreadsheets, web-based systems and internal databases.Logistics & Inventory Administration
Support the coordination of supplier shipments and stock movements.
Maintain shipment trackers and delivery records.
Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages.
Ensure inventory information is accurate and up to date.Returns & Product Administration
Process customer returns and maintain associated records.
Repackage, label and prepare products where required.
Support product administration and documentation activities.General Business Support
Follow established processes and help improve procedures.
Maintain organised records and filing systems.
Provide administrative support across the business.
Assist with meetings, travel arrangements and ad hoc projects as required.About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with data, takes pride in accuracy and can be relied upon to manage recurring tasks effectively.
Essential
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Experience working with spreadsheets and data.
Strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working with numerical information.
Well organised and methodical.
Reliable and self-motivated.
Able to work independently and manage routine responsibilities.
Confident learning new systems and software.Desirable
Previous administration or data administration experience.
Exposure to inventory, stock control or logistics processes.
Experience within ecommerce or online retail environments.
Familiarity with reporting systems or online marketplace platforms.
