We’re recruiting an experienced Wireman to join an engineering business based in Newmarket.
This is a hands-on role involving the wiring, assembly and testing of electrical systems, working from drawings and schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Electrical wiring and assembly
* Control panel wiring
* Cable preparation, routing and termination
* Working from electrical drawings and schematics
* Testing and fault finding
* Identifying and rectifying wiring issues
* Working alongside mechanical and engineering teams
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous Wireman, Panel Wireman or Electrical Assembly experience
* Confident reading electrical drawings and schematics
* Good electrical wiring and termination skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Engineering/manufacturing experience preferred
Electrical qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds or 17th/18th Edition would be advantageous but are not essential.
Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.
