Warehouse Operative

Duties

Safely handle materials during loading, unloading, picking, and packing activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment following safety protocols to move heavy or bulky items.
Prepare orders by selecting products accurately and packing them securely for shipment.
Stock shelves and organise storage areas to optimise space utilisation and facilitate quick access.
Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to maintain high standards.
Assist with mechanical maintenance or troubleshooting of warehouse equipment when necessary to minimise downtime.
Skills

Proven experience in materials handling, stock management, or warehouse operations.
Ideally a valid forklift certification with the ability to operate forklifts safely and confidently.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for picking, packing, stocking, and quality control activities.
