About the Role
We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing unit in Batley.
This is a hands-on production role within a modern, highly automated environment, where you'll work alongside machinery to help manufacture and produce products efficiently and to a high standard.
You'll be part of a team, monitoring the production process, carrying out routine checks and ensuring everything is running smoothly and safely.
Working Hours - Rotating Shift Pattern
Week 1: 5:50am - 2:00pm
Week 2: 1:50pm - 9:30pmAfter 12 weeks, employees will move onto an annualised hours contract, which includes a requirement to work 7 Saturdays per year.
Key Responsibilities
Working alongside automated production machinery
Monitoring the production process and output
Carrying out routine quality checks
Operating equipment safely and efficiently
Completing repetitive production tasks when required
Identifying and reporting any issues with the production process
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all health and safety procedures
Working effectively as part of a busy production team
Requirements
Previous production or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential
Comfortable working around machinery and automated processes
Ability to work rotating shifts
Comfortable with repetitive tasks
Good attention to detail
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
