How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Adapting teaching approaches and resources to meet a range of communication, language, learning and developmental needs.
Supporting pupils to develop their communication, language, social and emotional skills.
Working closely with teaching assistants and other professionals to ensure pupils receive consistent and effective support.
Setting and working towards individual pupil targets, including those outlined within EHCPs.
Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress and using this information to inform future planning.
Promoting inclusion, independence, confidence and positive relationships across the school.

You'll be a great fit if you:

Hold UK QTS or QTLS and have experience or a strong interest in SEN teaching.
Have experience working with children with communication and language needs, SEND or additional needs.
Have a patient, nurturing and adaptable approach to teaching.
Are confident differentiating lessons and adapting your teaching to meet individual pupil needs.
Have strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
Are able to build positive relationships with pupils and work effectively as part of a wider team.
Are passionate about helping every child achieve their potential.
Are interested in a role that could develop into a permanent position.

    What's in it for you:

A long-term teaching opportunity within a dedicated SEND Communication and Language Provision.
Potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
The opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils with communication and language needs.
The chance to become part of the school community and work alongside an experienced SEND team.
Competitive daily rates and weekly pay through Tradewind Recruitment.
Access to high-quality CPD and SEND-specific training.
Ongoing support from your dedicated local Tradewind consultant.
A role where your teaching, creativity and passion can have a lasting impact on pupils' development.Whether you are an experienced SEN specialist or a mainstream teacher looking to develop your expertise within a specialist provision, this could be an excellent opportunity to join Spring Lane Primary School and potentially secure a permanent position within their SEND team.
