Industrial Electrician

The Role

* We are looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to join an established electrical engineering business delivering installation and electrical infrastructure projects across industrial and renewable energy environments.

* This is a hands-on installation-focused role, suited to electricians who are comfortable working in demanding industrial environments and who take pride in delivering high-quality, compliant electrical installations.

* The role will involve working as part of a skilled site team, carrying out electrical installation, testing, commissioning and associated works across a range of industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out industrial electrical installation work to a high standard.

* Install and terminate electrical equipment, containment, cabling and associated systems.

* Work from electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.

* Carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations.

* Identify and resolve installation issues on site.

* Assist with commissioning and fault-finding activities where required.

* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant regulations, specifications and project requirements.

Essential Requirements

* Fully qualified electrician with relevant industrial electrical experience.

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

* 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent recognised inspection and testing qualification.

* Demonstrable experience working on industrial electrical installations.

* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

* Strong understanding of electrical installation standards and safe working practices.

* Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability.

* Comfortable working on active construction, industrial or renewable energy sites.

Desirable Experience

* Experience within renewable energy, utilities, energy infrastructure or large industrial projects.

* Experience with HV/LV electrical systems.

* Experience of commissioning and electrical testing.

* Additional electrical qualifications or site competencies.

* Experience working within structured permit-to-work and electrical safety systems
