This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys combining complex ER with hands-on HR projects and organisational change. Reporting into the Head of HR and working closely with senior leaders, you’ll help shape the wider people agenda while providing trusted advice across a range of business-critical initiatives.
You’ll also play an important role in building management capability, improving HR processes and supporting a positive and high-performing culture.
Based in Cosham with travel to other business locations as required, this is a hybrid role working 2 days a week from home and paying £50,000 – £65,000 DOE.
What you’ll do:
Majority of this role will be providing senior HR advice and support on complex ER matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, performance, TUPE and organisational change.
Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver HR projects across areas including engagement, wellbeing, DE&I, organisational development, talent and succession planning.
Support organisational change and workforce planning, helping leaders navigate change effectively and minimise people risk.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and ER frameworks, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
Coach, mentor and develop managers and HR colleagues, strengthening capability and promoting consistent people practices.
Use workforce data and insight to identify trends, manage risk and recommend improvements to the wider HR service.
The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive generalist HR experience, including strong ER expertise.
Demonstrable experience delivering HR projects within a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and constructively challenge senior leaders.
A proactive, autonomous and solutions-focused approach, with excellent resilience and attention to detail.
The ability to analyse information and translate it into practical recommendations.
CIPD qualified is desirable but not essential.
