Description
Lead the production of statutory and interim financial statements across a group of entities.
Act as the subject matter expert on IFRS and technical accounting matters.
Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee the audit process.
Ensure robust financial governance, controls and compliance standards are maintained.
Oversee financial asset and liability reporting, including IFRS 9 assessments and documentation.
Maintain accurate accounting records and audit trails.
Support the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes.
Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide technical accounting guidance and support.
Profile
A successful Financial Reporting Senior Manager should have:
The successful candidate will be a technically strong qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation.
You will bring:
Strong IFRS and technical accounting expertise.
Experience producing complex consolidated financial statements.
A background within banking, investment management, financial services or another similarly regulated environment.
Previous experience managing external audits.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality reporting.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
The ability to work collaboratively whilst influencing senior decision-makers
Job Offer
Salary between £56,000 and £62,500, pro rata dependent on the level of experience.
Hybrid working with an expectation of two office days per week.
Fixed-term contract through to March 2027.
30 days annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell holiday.
