Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - SEN Schools
Veritas Education are looking for resilient and experienced Psychology Graduates to join SEN schools across West London. These full-time roles are available to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN and additional needs, alongside a flexible and individualised approach to student support. You will provide one-to-one, small-group and classroom support, helping students engage with learning and develop academically, socially and emotionally.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one, small-group and whole-class support to students with SEN.
Support students with their learning, development and engagement.
Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to meet individual student needs.
Build positive, trusting relationships with students and act as a consistent role model.
Key Requirements:
Recent Psychology or related degree.
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN/additional needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Resilient, patient and empathetic approach.
Enthusiastic and committed to supporting students.
Experience within an educational or specialist SEN setting is highly desirable.
