Quaity Inspector

At ADA Machining Services Ltd, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, precision machining and manufacturing solutions. We are currently looking for a meticulous and highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team and ensure our components continue to meet the highest standards of engineering excellence.

The Role

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in our quality assurance process. You will be directly responsible for verifying that all machined parts conform to strict engineering specifications, with a heavy focus on bespoke, precision components. In this role, you will also serve as a face of the department, representing our commitment to excellence during on-site customer visits.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive one-off inspections and first-article inspections on complex machined components.

*

Operate and utilize FARO Arm equipment for accurate 3D measurement, spatial inspection, and reporting.

*

Manage and maintain strict calibration control systems across all measurement instruments and inspection tools on the shop floor.

*

Host and deal with customer visits, acting as a technical representative to walk clients through our inspection processes, audits, and quality standards.

*

Interpret complex engineering drawings, geometric dimensions, and tolerances (GD&T).

*

Identify and document any non-conformances, working closely with the machining team to resolve quality issues.

*

Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records.

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within a precision machining or manufacturing environment.

*

Strong, hands-on working knowledge of FARO Arm systems.

*

Demonstrable experience managing calibration control procedures.

*

Extensive expertise in conducting one-off component inspections rather than just batch-checking.

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the professional confidence to interact directly with visiting clients.

*

Extreme attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
