We are looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals who require assistance with their daily lives.
As a Support Worker, you will play an important role in promoting independence, dignity, wellbeing and quality of life. You will work closely with the people we support, their families and other professionals to ensure they receive safe, respectful and personalised care.
Key responsibilities

Provide person-centred support in accordance with individual care plans.
*
Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting, where required.
*
Support with meals, hydration and medication in line with training and company procedures.
*
Encourage individuals to maintain their independence and make their own choices.
*
Provide emotional, social and practical support.
*
Support individuals to attend appointments, activities and community services.
*
Monitor and report changes in physical or emotional wellbeing.
*
Maintain accurate, up-to-date and confidential records.
*
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, infection control and confidentiality procedures.
*
Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow relevant procedures.
*
Complete all required training and maintain professional standards.

Experience and qualifications
Previous experience in health or social care is desirable but not always essential, as training may be provided.
The following would be advantageous:

Care Certificate or Level 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
*
Experience supporting people with learning or physical disabilities, mental health needs, dementia or complex care.
*
Enhanced DBS(Update service)
*
Medication, moving and handling, or other relevant care training.
*
A full UK driving licence, where required for the role.
Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate DBS/background checks and demonstrate the right to work in the UK.
