This is a broad in-house role supporting colleagues across legal, compliance, governance and risk matters in the UK and internationally.
Key responsibilities will include:
Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and legal documents.
Advising colleagues on contractual and legal risk.
Supporting procurement, consultancy and sub-grant agreements.
Assisting with GDPR, compliance and corporate governance matters.
Carrying out due diligence, including sanctions and AML checks.
Supporting insurance, policies, procedures and internal controls.
Liaising with external counsel and providing practical legal guidance.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Experience within an in-house legal team or private practice.
A good knowledge of English contract law.
Experience across data protection, compliance and/or governance.
Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills.
A practical, commercial and solutions-focused approach.
